Who We Are

the man who can
Geoffrey Bicker, Director at AON

Geoffrey Bicker

With credits including Monsoon Accessorize, Halfords, Boots, Kodak, Illy, BMW and Siemens, Geoff has directed, edited and animated for some of the UK’s biggest companies.

After training at multimedia school ARTTS International, Geoff became its Technical Director and Director/Producer for ARTTS Productions. He wrote, directed and edited marketing, promotional and educational videos for companies such as Pirelli, BP, Drax Power Ltd, Scottish & Southern Energy, Nissan, and a number of Hospices.

During his 16 years at ARTTS International/Productions, Geoff also implemented Media and Management Training Courses for companies such as Croda International, ICI, Post Office Counters Ltd and the BBC.  He ran a variety of courses including ‘Handling the Media’, ‘Personal Impact’, ‘Presentation Skills’ and ‘Teambuilding’.

Since 2005, Geoff has headed up AON Productions in partnership with Derek Donohoe. As well as directing and editing, Geoff has now mastered animation and 3D modelling. He constantly pushes the boundaries of what the company can achieve, giving clients a range of solutions for their communications needs.

Geoff is an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After-Effects, Adobe Photoshop and LightWave.

If Geoff ever says, ‘We can’t do that,’ he always adds, ‘but we can do this…’. The word ‘no’ just isn’t part of his vocabulary, as it’s his instinct to find a creative solution to every scenario. The budget won’t allow for a helicopter fly-by of an industrial site? Then he’ll create a 3D animation instead. Green screen, whitescreen, split screen and multiscreen – Geoff is master of them all.
